Almond kheer:
Almonds which are rich in protein , fibre , magnesium, vitamin E and lots of healthy fats when combined with richness of milk and creaminess of rice paste results in a delicious creamy kheer. Below are the ingredients and procedure , try and enjoy :)

Almonds which are rich in protein , fibre , magnesium, vitamin E and lots of healthy fats when combined with richness of milk and creaminess of rice paste results in a delicious creamy kheer. Below are the ingredients and procedure , try and enjoy :)
Ingredients:
- Rice 1 cup
- Almonds 1/2 cup
- Milk 1 litre
- Sugar 1 cup
- Pinch of cardamom powder
- Pinch of salt
Procedure:
- Soak almonds overnight, peel the skin and grind it to a smooth paste.
- Soak rice for 2 hrs and grind it to a smooth paste.
- Boil milk, once boiled add rice paste and stir continuously for 5 mins then add almond paste and again stir well for another 5 mins, add water/milk if it becomes thick.
- Then add the sugar and keep the kheer on low flame for 5 mins.
- Finally add cardamom powder and pinch of salt to enhance the taste.
- Add almond pieces for the crunchiness in the kheer.
- Delicious almond kheer is ready.
